Events & Marketing Assistant.

Job Summary:

We are looking to hire an energetic and ambitious individual who will work alongside the events and marketing team to assist in managing the operational and administrative functions of these areas of the business. The candidate will assist in both the strategizing and execution of marketing plans including digital platforms as well as involvement in event planning both in planning staging and
the operations.
The role offers the opportunity to progress and develop a significant number of skills, ideal for someone with drive and ambition to build a successful career in the entertainments industry.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Events
● Assisting in the delivering of events on time, within budget while also meeting or exceeding expectations
● Managing administrative functions including but not limited to artist itineraries, contracts and event itineraries.
● Ensuring DJ and Entertainment contracts are completed to Spanish legislations.
●Provide assistance with maintaining event budgets.
● Managing supplier relationships including sourcing and negotiating necessary elements
with vendors and suppliers.
● Communication with event partners to ensure events fulfill external brand guidelines and ensure brands are representing the events to their full exposure also.
● Liaise with marketing and PR with regards to promoting the events to ensure maximum exposure and sales.
● Analyze the event’s success and produce reports
● Research skills to identify event opportunities, understand the market, and generate interest.
● Proactive approach to handling issues and troubleshooting any emerging problems on the
event day.
● Have managerial abilities to organize staff during events and coordinate their activities.
● Enthusiasm regarding collaborative work with marketing and PR departments to promote
and publicize events.
● Hospitality skills to communicate and look after artists and DJ’s booked for events.

Marketing

● Collaborating with the marketing managers, internal teams, clients and partners on marketing strategies.
● Assisting in the coordination of all promotional activities with regards to events and all other aspects of the business.
● Assist in publishing highly creative and original, high quality content on our digital channels to ensure the content is informative and appealing
● Take the lead in the organisation of competitor market research and identifying current market trends in order to develop key opportunities for growth.
● Assist the managers in collating information, writing reports, collecting press clippings and analysing data.
● Writing content for online and printed publications.
● Managing photography and videography briefs
● Assisting in the management of guests including press and influencers.
● Ability to identify and reach out to the correct target market
● Facilitate client – company communication (communicate with followers, respond to messages, in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews ….)
● Stay up to date with new digital technologies and updates in current technologies
● Assisting in-house graphic designer with changes/updates to existing artwork
● Assessing and documenting the results of marketing campaigns including but not limited to press trips, press announcements, online marketing and in-venue marketing.
