About the role

We are currently looking for a Junior Art Director to join our creative team. This role involves collaborating with various clients, such as one of our most significant, which is Galderma. Galderma is the world’s largest independent dermatology company, present in approximately 100 countries, and we have been partnering with them since 2020 to run the digital global communication for their most important brands, such as Cetaphil, the #1 Doctor Recommended Sensitive Skincare Brand in the US.

The Junior Art Director will work closely with Copywriters and Strategists, reporting into the Lead Art Director and the Creative Director. Will be responsible for crafting engaging and persuasive visual campaigns and content for different clients, many of which are skincare brands, with a focus on big digital advertising campaigns as well as social media content. You would be part of the conceptualization process, thoroughly understanding the brand identity and proposing edgier visual ideas that convey its messages, values, and personality, for a variety of clients.

This position requires working from our HQ located in Barcelona.


– Develop the overall look or style of the assets involving the online and offline campaigns by designing visual brand guidelines and templates
– Craft original concepts, execute key art based on established voice/tone, and collaborate with mid- and junior-level creatives from concept to execution.
– Create and present concepts for client campaigns and new business that meet strategic and business goals
– Supervision of all the work delivered to our clients from an Art Direction point of view
– Ensure the completion of all projects within the given timeframe while managing different and simultaneous deadlines, prioritizing work effectively
– Ensuring all assets created are on brief, to spec and on brand
– Alongside the Lead Art Director, lead the team responsible for putting together client presentations, documents for pitches and other similar documents
– Ensure the creative team is creating content with the channel specifics in mind, good UI and cross-browser compatibility
– Understand and coordinate all technical specifications supplied by media agencies (and ensure the team understands them too)
– Ensure all elements like reference files, brand assets, fonts etc. have been supplied by the – Producer/PM before commencing work on a brief. If not, flagging any missing assets ASAP
– Attend to video and photo shoots and oversee their art direction
– Talk to clients and present creative concepts and designs
– Present work internally and to clients
– Work together with copywriters, strategists, and account team to provide creative, strategically sound solutions for client, in-house and new business needs


– 3+ years of experience as a Graphic Designer/Art Director in a digital agency (or in a similar environment)
– Portfolio with successfully launched client projects and concepts across broadcast work, digital, social, and everything in between.
– Be passionate and stay up-to-date with fashion, beauty, cosmetics, and skincare trends
– Thorough familiarity with current US mainstream culture, entertainment, influencers and trends
– An outstanding eye for great design and a passion for delivering creative work
– Ability to proactively suggest improvements to brief
– Ability to deliver and present conceptual work
– Ability to deliver and present high complexity briefs working in partnership with a Senior – Creative Copywriter (both reporting to the Creative Director)
– A thorough knowledge of key features within Adobe Cloud
– Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to guide and inspire the creative team to achieve outstanding results
– Good knowledge of all the major digital channels and Social Media platforms, including being familiar with their technical specifications
– Strong design, creativity, and strategy-based communication skills
– Eager to learn and improve from new techniques and new tools, such as AI
– Strong interpersonal skills, a positive attitude and the ability to thrive in a collaborative agency environment with multi-disciplinary teams.
– Strong verbal communication skills in order to speak effectively with internal teams and clients
